Ingredients

  • 1 piece/pack Frozen Tater Tots, thawed
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Melted Butter
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 4 pieces Medium-sized Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • ⅓ cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Water
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Water
  • Vanilla Ice Cream (Optional)
  • Chocolate Sauce/Syrup

Preparation

  1. Bake or air fry tater tots until crispy and golden.
  2. Make Apple Pie Filling: Melt butter and cinnamon over medium heat. Stir in apples, sugar, and water.
  3. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally for 4 to 6 minutes or until slightly softened.
  4. In a small dish, combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water. Add to the pan while stirring and continue to cook until apples are soft, and filling is thickened.
  5. Let it bubble for 1 minute.
  6. Mix tater tots with brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon.
  7. Pour the warm apple filling into a bowl, topped with crispy tater tots, Vanilla Ice Cream, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce/syrup.
