Description

Crispy fries wrapped in juicy steak -- dreams DO come true! Who needs a fancy dinner when you've got this dynamic duo in one bite? Chef Jackie Ang Po’s creation is guaranteed to hit all the right spots.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams U.S. Potato Shoestring Fries
  • 200 grams Beef Slices
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Calamansi Juice
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Butter as needed

Preparation

  1. Marinate the beef in all the ingredients for 1 hour.
  2. Pan fry beef slices in butter.
  3. Fry the shoestring fries until crispy.
  4. Quickly wrap the beef slices around the fries and serve.
  5. Use drippings as a flavorful “Bistek” (beef steak) sauce.
