Description

Light and fluffy Parmesan mashed potatoes filled crescent rolls, baked until golden brown then brushed with an aromatic melted garlic herb butter.

Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cups (347 g) Instant Mashed Potatoes
  • 8 oz (226 g) Crescent Roll Dough (1 package)
  • ¼ cup (30 g) Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¼ cup (60 g) Melted Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tbsp (8 g) Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp (4 g) Parsley (minced)

Preparation

  1. Prepare mashed potatoes according to box instructions.
  2. In a bowl, add mashed potatoes and parmesan cheese and mix until combined and set aside.
  3. On a clean table, unbox crescent roll dough and spread flat, take a ¼ cup scoop of mashed potato filling, and spread evenly then roll into a crescent shape. Place rolls at an even distance from each other on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (176°C) for 12-14 minutes or until light golden brown or according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. While waiting, in a small bowl, melt butter, add garlic, parsley, and mix.
  5. Remove baked crescent rolls, slightly cool, and lightly brush melted garlic herb butter over rolls.
