Pesang Isda at Patatas Bola-Bola (Fish Potata Ball Gingered Broth) - Elevating a simple soup a complete meal with fish potato ball in ginger broth.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces U.S. Fresh Potatoes, cut into quarters
  • 500 grams lapu-lapu
  • 1 piece onion, sliced
  • 1 piece garlic, crushed
  • 1 piece ginger, cut into pieces
  • 4 cups rice water
  • 4 pieces pechay
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • peppercorn
  • oil for sautéing

Preparation

1. Boil potatoes and mashed.
2. Debone fish, add fish sauce and pepper and roughly food process with the cooked potatoes.
3. Form balls. Set aside.
4. In a hot sauce pan, sauté garlic, onion and ginger.
5. Pour in rice water and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the potato fish balls and bring to a boil for another 3 minutes.
6. Lastly add the pechay. Season.
7. Serve.
