Description

All the flavors of a loaded baked potato encased in a golden-brown calzone!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (435 g) Mashed Potatoes
  • 13.8 oz (391 g) Refrigerated Pizza Dough
  • ½ cup (112 g) Shredded Mozzarella
  • ½ cup (117 g) Shredded Cheddar
  • 1/3 cup (48 g) Bacon, chopped
  • 1/3 cup (34 g) Green Onions, chopped
  • ½ cup (118 ml) Sour Cream
  • 1 each (44 g) Egg

Preparation
Prep Time: 20min | Cook Time: 20min

  1. Gather all ingredients and equipment.
  2. Preheat oven 400°F (204°C)
  3. In a medium sized bowl, add mashed potatoes, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, bacon, green onions and mix until fully combined and evenly distributed.
  4. Crack egg and place in a bowl and whisk together to use as egg wash. Set aside.
  5. Unbox pizza dough, unroll and spread on a clean surface.
  6. On one half of the dough, spread filling evenly. Then fold over other half of dough and tightly crimp edges together. The shape should be a half circle. Then place on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Cut air vents then brush egg wash over calzone.
  8. Place in oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and slightly cool and serve.
