U.S. Frozen Potato
Ingredients
- 2 cups U.S. frozen curly fries
- 1 cup flat parsley, chopped
- ½ cup cilantro, chopped
- ½ cup dill
- ½ cup white onion
- 2 tablespoon garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander seeds
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- oil for frying
Falafel Tahini Sauce
- 3 tablespoon tahini
- ½ cup yogurt
- 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon honey
Preparation
- In a food processor, combine the fries, herbs and spices.
- Pulse ground the mixture until all the ingredients are incorporated.
- Transfer in a bowl.
- Mix the sesame seeds in the potato falafel mixture.
- Chill for an hour. Form into small patty.
- Shallow fry in oil until golden brown on both sides.
- For the sauce, combine the tahini, yogurt, chopped garlic and honey. Mix well.
