Description

U.S. Frozen Potato

Ingredients

  • 2 cups U.S. frozen curly fries
  • 1 cup flat parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup cilantro, chopped
  • ½ cup dill
  • ½ cup white onion
  • 2 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander seeds
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • oil for frying

Falafel Tahini Sauce

  • 3 tablespoon tahini
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Preparation

  1. In a food processor, combine the fries, herbs and spices.
  2. Pulse ground the mixture until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  3. Transfer in a bowl.
  4. Mix the sesame seeds in the potato falafel mixture.
  5. Chill for an hour. Form into small patty.
  6. Shallow fry in oil until golden brown on both sides.
  7. For the sauce, combine the tahini, yogurt, chopped garlic and honey. Mix well.
