Kitchen 143 and Potatoes USA teamed up with Chef Sau del Rosario, a classically trained chef who sharpened his skills in restaurants from all over the world including France, China, Thailand, and Singapore before coming back to the Philippines. He has since then represented the country in various international events and is one of the champions bringing back traditional and regional flavors into the dining scene. He is also the proud owner of Cafe Fleur in Pampanga and Manila.

Chef Sau turned Potatoes USA products into two traditional Kapampangan dishes – the tamales and pistu.

Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic
  • ½ Onion, diced
  • 500 grams Pork
  • 100 grams Chorizo, minced
  • 2 pieces Hashbrowns
  • 2 pieces Red Bell pepper, diced
  • 50 grams Green Peas
  • 50 grams Butter
  • 2 Eggs, beaten

Preparation

  1. In a hot pan with oil, sauté garlic and onion, add ground pork and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add chorizo and potatoes.
  3. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
  4. Add bell pepper and green peas.
  5. Add butter when melted.
  6. Then beaten eggs and mix well.
  7. Serve with hash brown.
