Hotdog covered with delicious, fluffy, and crunchy diced potato fries on the outside. A next-level take on corn dog that is perfect for snacks and parties!

Ingredients

Waffle Mix

  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 pieces eggs
  • 1 cup fresh milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 800 grams U.S. frozen potato fries, diced
  • 12 pieces sausages or hotdogs on sticks
  • 1 cup Japanese bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • oil for frying
  • ketchup
  • cheese sauce

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients of the batter.
  2. Dredge hotdogs in the flour, then dip in the batter.
  3. Roll into the potato fries.
  4. Sprinkle with Japanese bread crumbs.
  5. Press mixture well onto the sausage. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Deep fry until nice and golden.
  7. Drizzle with ketchup or cheese sauce.
